Last weekend, one of our playgroups organized an Olympic Games picnic for the children and families. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we had an incredible time. The games started with a brief synopsis of the 5 Olympic mascots; Emily was so excited as she had been learning about the mascots at preschool and is on Mascot NiNi's team for preschool events. There were various events and relays for the children to participate in and each and every child walked away with at least one gold medal and several prizes. An Olympic themed craft table was very popular among the kids, as was the feast that followed.
We are so incredibly lucky and grateful to be part of such an incredible group of families.
